aod Hazardous Materials [ROTR][C]


art of defense style map for 3 players max vs 1 usa Ai

For victory the players must survive until help arrives (15 minutes from the start of attacks).
If the 'critical' structure is destroyed the players are defeated.
The 4 other buildings that the players must defend all trigger different sets of scripts if
destroyed/controlled by players.
Attacks are highly varied and come steadily from all directions.

Setting the CPU difficulty makes a change to a single script only --> giving players longer to prepare for attack
on easier settings.

Normal : 2 mins
Hard: 90 seconds
Brutal: 1 min

A map intro (approx. 60s) briefs the players and shows important areas of the map.


Map Setup



--> 3 human players all on Team 1.
--> Select USA faction for a single CPU controlled army, put CPU on Team 2.
--> Choose Normal, Hard or Brutal difficulty
--> Place the CPU army in the position at the North (top) of the map.

Mission Overview/Tips for success



--> The 'chemical factory', known as the HazMat Storage, contains a new type of warhead
which must be protected at all costs. Prevent the destruction of this building for 15 minutes.

Failure to secure each the 4 other structures has the following effects on the mission:


--> PowerStation - these power perimeter defenses to the SouthEast and SouthWest. If these
are destroyed ground attacks will begin from these directions.

--> AA Control Tower - controls Anti-Air turrets to the south of the map. If this is destroyed OR
empty the enemy will regularly paradrop onto the base.

--> Radar Jammer - prevents enemy from finding targets for Superweapons. If this is empty OR
destroyed the enemy will begin a barrage of various Superweapons.

--> Comms Jammer - disrupts enemy communications so they cannot organize a full assault. If this is
destroyed the enemy will send additional, large attacks from the North (top).

Hints


---> The power plant is the most Critical of the 4 sub buildings to protect, if that dies things go very wrong very quickly

---> Stealth detection is a must right from the start

Fixed version added.

starting mismatch fixed
North attacks extra wave 2 drone crash fixed
Some terrain fixs
Tech buildings (with the exception of the reinforcement pads) can now be captured by moving any infantry inside them
