I've wanted to ask this question for a loooooong time, even back in the Shockwave days but never did UNTIL NOW - is there a way to make civilian buildings have more health? I've always used 'em but have have always been dismayed at their lack of punishment vs attacks. I'm sure it would of been played with by now if there was....?
Perhaps even if they didn't dispel troops so quickly after their first 'crumble' stage...(chickens!) .Buildings should just take more of a hammering IMO -------------------- |

in the world builder, object property's you can. Select the structure and where it says Health: default for object change that to other, and then u can give it what health you want. -------------------- |

I suppose this would be of no interest in implementing - allowing for buildings to have more strategic value generally in the game? Surprised it hasn't been done you saying that! Unless it has to be adjusted building by building, map by map then I'll understand! -------------------- |

If you want to increase civilian buildings' health, there are 2 ways:
1. Via world builder, you can adjust everythings' health (You shall do this 1 by 1). But you have them ONLY in the map you editted. 2. INI Files. If you do this, you can no longer play online and you get missmatch in every single match. However, every civilian building in any map will have the amount of health you adjusted. Cheers. |

Also don't forget the in-game way of boosting building health by placing one builder unit (dozer) beside your building so that it would repair if needed.
Personally I like garrison fight where each player moves rocket infantry into buildings to have some garrison fight. It's a good way of distracting the opponent while you're doing some interesting job anywhere else on the map, or even to get your main force past the buildings, knowing that each player will have to choose whether to retarget garrison fire or not. Also personally I like civilian buildings' stamina just as it is, there's already a large variety of staminas according to the type of buildings (with water tower having much more health than wooden buildings for example), and it is a good thing you can just destroy a garrisonned building with enough fire power when you don't have time to build clear-garrison units. -------------------- "They shall come, expecting the obvious, the simple, the artless. They shall stab at the shadows with confused minds and troubled hearts. Meanwhile, we shall appear unseen from ten directions, and from every one strike a fatal blow." Note: The reason people run out early is so that you can repair it if the other guy doesn't take the time to completely demolish it.

map.ini could also be used, it'll require some digging but if you want to adjust the HP on many things it might be easier to handle it that way.
